My was sadness and difficulty. During my childhood, I never really had a secure home life. My parents were constantly quarreling, and eventually, they divorced when I was just a adolescent. I was required to bounce around between different relatives’ houses, never really feeling like I fit in.

Then, one particular day, something transformed my life permanently. I was playing a game online with a few friends when I was suddenly separated from the server. At first, I assumed it was just a glitch, but as it turned out, my internet service had been cut off due to an outstanding bill that my mother and father had neglected to pay.

I was heartbroken. How was I going to be able to be able to play my favorite games without any access to internet? But, rather than mope in self-pity, I resolved to take matters into my own hands. I started saving up my allowance and doing odd jobs for neighbors in order to pay for my own internet service. It was not easy, but finally, I was able to get back online and continue the games that I loved.
